Configure fulfillment zones — Shopify

Set up Shopify shipping zones so Everspring suppliers can fulfill your orders in the right regions.

Why this matters

Shopify uses shipping zones to decide which regions an order can be placed from. If a country is missing from your zones, customers can't check out — and Everspring products imported with region-specific shipping rates won't be available at that destination. This article walks you through aligning your Shopify fulfillment zones with the regions Everspring supports for your suppliers.

Where to configure zones

  1. In Shopify, go to Settings → Shipping and delivery.
  2. Under Shipping, find the profile that contains your Everspring products (usually General shipping rates, unless you moved products into a custom profile).
  3. Click Manage rates.

Step 1 — Add the zones you sell to

Everspring imports shipping rates per country. Before products sync, make sure Shopify has a zone for each country you want to sell in:

  • Click Create zone.
  • Give it a descriptive name (e.g. Benelux, DACH, Europe).
  • Add the countries that belong in that zone and save.

Everspring's imported rates will automatically attach to matching zones after the next product sync.

Step 2 — Check rate coverage per zone

For every zone, confirm at least one shipping rate is active. Shopify won't show a checkout option if a zone has no rates — customers from that country will see "No shipping options available" and drop off.

Everspring adds rates named EVR — [supplier] — [service]. If you see a zone without an EVR rate but products from that supplier are assigned to it, the supplier doesn't ship there. Remove the country from the zone, or move the affected products to a different profile.

Step 3 — Re-sync after changes

After editing zones, open the Everspring app in Shopify and run a product sync. This refreshes which products are available at checkout per zone. Changes are usually live within a few minutes.

Common issues

  • Customer sees "No shipping options" — the destination country isn't in any zone that contains a matching EVR rate. Add it.
  • Rates look duplicated — the same supplier is active across overlapping zones. Remove the narrower duplicate.
  • New country not syncing — check that the supplier actually ships there in your Everspring supplier settings before adding the zone.
