Payment methods

Which payment methods Everspring supports, how to add or change yours, and what happens if a payment fails.

Supported payment methods

Everspring accepts the following methods for your subscription and usage charges:

  • SEPA Direct Debit — the default for most European retailers. Charges are pulled automatically from your bank account on the due date.

  • iDEAL — for Dutch retailers who prefer to pay each invoice manually.

  • Credit card — Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Charged automatically on the due date.

eWallet top-ups use the same payment methods. See the eWallet articles for top-up specifics.

Adding or changing your payment method

  1. Go to Settings → Billing in your Everspring back office.

  2. Click Payment method.

  3. Add a new method (you can store multiple) or change which one is the default.

  4. Confirm — changes take effect on your next invoice.

You can keep more than one payment method on file. The one marked default is the one we charge.

What happens if a payment fails

If a charge doesn't go through (expired card, insufficient funds, SEPA mandate rejected), you'll get an email right away. We'll automatically retry a few times over the next days.

If the retries also fail, the invoice moves to overdue and your account manager reaches out. To avoid disruption, update your payment method as soon as you see a failed payment notification.

Prepayment via eWallet

For order-level costs (shipping, pick & pack, supplier payments) we use the eWallet instead of the subscription payment method. Make sure there's a positive balance — see Activate and verify your eWallet.
