Wholesale prices, RRP, shipping, VAT, and how your margin is calculated — everything you see on every product and invoice.

Everspring uses a transparent, wholesale-plus-shipping pricing model. This article explains the prices you see on the platform, how margins work, and where VAT and shipping fit in.

The prices you see

  • Wholesale price — what you pay the supplier, excluding VAT and shipping.

  • Recommended retail price (RRP) — a suggested end-consumer price based on supplier experience and market benchmarks. You're free to sell above or below it.

  • Shipping cost — calculated per order based on weight, dimensions, carrier, and destination.

  • VAT — calculated per order based on your VAT status and the delivery country.

Your margin

Your margin is the gap between your retail price and the total wholesale + shipping cost:

Margin = Retail price − Wholesale − Shipping − VAT (if applicable)

When you push a product to your webshop through the native integration, you can set a mark-up rule (for example, "1.8× wholesale price") so the retail price is calculated automatically. You can still tweak individual products afterwards.

Shipping — when is it charged?

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout and charged to your eWallet together with the wholesale amount when the supplier accepts the order.

  • Different suppliers have different carrier rates; you'll see the exact shipping cost per order in the order detail page.

  • We don't pass on fuel surcharges by default — they're covered by our negotiated rates.

VAT

  • Between EU-registered businesses with a valid VAT number, VAT is reverse-charged (0% invoiced by Everspring).

  • Shipments to private consumers follow destination-country VAT under the EU OSS scheme.

  • Each invoice clearly splits wholesale, shipping, and VAT so your bookkeeper can reconcile easily.

Volume discounts & negotiations

Everspring's standard wholesale prices are the same for every retailer — no hidden tiers. Some suppliers offer volume pricing on specific SKUs once you pass a monthly order volume; when that's the case, it's shown on the product detail page.

Good to know

  • Prices in the storefront always exclude VAT and shipping.

  • If a supplier updates a wholesale price, linked products in your webshop re-sync automatically — review your mark-up rules if it changes your margin significantly.

  • Refunds for cancelled or claimed orders are credited back to your eWallet at the same wholesale + shipping amount that was charged.
