Create product variants — WooCommerce

WooCommerce doesn't receive variants from Everspring automatically. Set them up yourself, then link each variant to its Everspring SKU.

Why this matters

Variants in WooCommerce are not pushed from Everspring. You choose the structure yourself — by size, colour, pot size, or any attribute that makes sense for your store — and bind each variant to its Everspring SKU so stock stays in sync.

1. Switch the product to Variable

  1. Open Products and click the product you want to turn into a variable product.

  2. In the Product data dropdown, change Simple product to Variable product.

2. Define attributes

  1. Open the Attributes tab.

  2. Enter an attribute name (e.g. Size or Colour).

  3. Enter the values separated by the | pipe character (e.g. 15 cm | 20 cm | 30 cm).

  4. Check Used for variations, then click Save attributes.

3. Generate and link variations

  1. Open the Variations tab.

  2. Click Generate variations and confirm.

  3. For each variation, expand it and enter the matching Everspring SKU exactly as it appears in Everspring — this is the bind between the variation and Everspring stock.

  4. Set a price on every variation. Variations without a price are hidden on the storefront.

  5. Click Save changes.

4. Clean up duplicates

If you previously had separate simple products for each size or colour, delete them now — they're replaced by the variants under the new parent.

💡 The SKU is the only link between a variant and Everspring. If the SKU doesn't match exactly, stock won't update and orders won't forward.
