RRP vs the price I should actually charge: what's the difference?
The Recommended Retail Price is a starting point, not a rule — when to follow it and when to deviate.

The Recommended Retail Price (RRP) — sometimes labeled MRRP in the data feed — is the supplier's suggested end-consumer price based on what they see working in the market. It's a starting point, not a rule.
You're free to sell above it (premium positioning, added service, gift packaging) or below it (clearance, loss-leader to drive Mix & Match orders). For most retailers new to a supplier, following the RRP and tuning later is the safest default — see How to set retail prices for when to deviate.
