While variant families aren’t synced automatically, you can manually add and link product variants in Shopify using Everspring. This guide shows you how to do it step by step for full control.

 

Why Adding Product Variants Is Important

Adding variants such as size, color, or packaging options helps customers easily find the exact version of a product they want. It improves the shopping experience, reduces confusion, and increases the likelihood of a successful purchase—especially when your catalog contains similar products with slight differences.

In this guide, we'll explore how to manually add variants to products in your Shopify store when using the Everspring app.

Adding Variants in Shopify:

  1. Navigate to your Shopify Admin dashboard and select "Products."

  2. Choose the existing product to which you want to add variants, or create a new product.

  3. Within the product details, find the "Variants" section and click "Add Variant."

  4. Specify the variant details, such as color or size.

Linking Variants to Everspring:

  1. Set the "Vendor" field to "Everspring."

  2. Change the fulfillment option to "Everspring fulfillment."

  3. Fill in the SKU of the product as it appears in Everspring.

  4. Ensure the product, including its variants, is added to your catalog in Everspring
